Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy is without a doubt three of my favorite movies of all-time. According to “The Lord of the Rings” nerds at TheOneRing.net, some dude (probably a D&D champ) named Theodred was tuning into BBC radio and heard “The Hobbit” director Guillermo del Toro serve up some casting nuggets regarding Hugo Weaving (Elrond), Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Andy Serkis (Gollumn).
