I may have let a little pee out.

It makes me said to write the words “THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART I,” because it reminds me too much of writing “THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART I.” Nonetheless, I’d watch Jennifer Lawrence in THE HUNGER GAMES QUADRILOGY whilst being punched in the man parts by Jean-Claude Van Damme a million times before I’d suffer through one more minute of Stephanie Meyer’s cinematic crotch punch. With that said, check out the minute-plus viral video below, where the salty …
I love me some Ridley Scott, but I must confess, I haven’t been too enamored with The Brother-of Tony’s recent forays into le cinema. Robin Hood? Seemed promising, but didn’t quite hit the ol’ bullseye, despite having Russell Crowe (The Next Three Days) and Cate Blanchett (Hanna), and don’t get me started on Body of Lies or A Good Year. However, my opinion might not be so relevant, considering my favorite Ridley Scott movies are Blackhawk Down and The Kingdom …
I’m not on the “OMG! Joss Wedon is the shizniz and the second coming of cinematic Jesus!” bandwagon and I’m not a follower of The Avengers. It’s definitely not a movie I am aching to see in 2012. However, I do like Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Captain America: The First Avenger was one of my favorite movies of Summer 2011 and, well, Scarlett Johansson lights my fires and kicks my tires in the worst way. Seriously, not sure …
I love scary movies. Not in the way you’d love baby kittens or a pony, but in the sadomasochistic fashion where I enjoy the rush of adrenalin that zips through my body moments before I have the ever-lovin’ bejeezus scared out of me by some sort of heart-stopping, poop-your-pants boogeyman on the big screen. Over the last few years, this addiction has been thoroughly satiated by Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2. These voyeuristic haunted house movies make me laugh and tinkle in my …
It was only a matter of time before Hollywood stopped raping remaking films from the 80s and moved on to greener, more creative pastures – like board games. I guess technically Battleship isn’t a board game, but you get my drift. When Peter Berg, whom I typically hold in high esteem as a director (The Kingdom, Hancock), announced he’d be bringing “you sunk my” Battleship to the big screen, I was dumbfounded and horrified. Now, after watching the teaser trailer, …
The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer debuted in front of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 last Friday and popped up officially online a few days thereafter, and never in my wildest imagination did I think Spider-Man would beat out Batman for my love and attention this week, but boyhowdy, director Marc Webb, the man behind (500) Days of Summer, has fashioned a trailer that is stylistic, brooding, intriguing and makes his re-boot, The Amazing Spider-Man, easily …
Judas H. Priest! I cannot believe I sat through a second showing of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 just to catch a big screen glimpse of the much-anticipated, long-awaited teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, due in theaters July 20, 2012. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed The Deathly Hallows – Part 2, but I’m no Hogwarts zealot. Once is enough for me. Still, Christopher Nolan’s musk of perfection led me to the …
It’s been a year since we’ve had to commune, by choice or force, with Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart), Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and the whole Forks, Washington crew, including the pasty-skinned, pissy Volturi creepies from Italy, whom we’ve seen briefly in the last two films. But hold on tight, Twihards, because The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hits theaters on November 18, 2011 and the first preview hit the web earlier in the week. You can watch …
I never saw the 1982 Arnold Schwarzenegger version of Conan the Barbarian. My parents thought the R-rated sword and sorcery flick was a little too violent and a little too boobtastic for my eight year-old eyes. I did, however, see Conan the Destroyer in 1984, but that was PG and had been re-cut by director Richard Fleischer so it could secure the more kid and teen friendly rating. Too bad all those young people can’t exorcise the image of Grace …
