GRADE: D Remember back in 2009 when audiences were abuzz about what tigers dreamed of, whether the said striped jungle cats preferred pepper over cinnamon, and exactly who was the tiny, naked violent Asian man springing from the Wolf Pack’s Mercedes? Cast your mind to 2011, when we wondered if this was a magic show, and where a chubby, bearded dude purchased his awesome golden lab t-shirt and how that and a traditional Chinese hat seem to be the perfect apparel …

Say what you want about Michael Bay and poop all you want on Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, but Bay knows how to make a slick action movie. You can argue story and substance all day long, but you can’t debate beauty and bang, because that’s what Bay does best. This is completely evident in the newest and longest trailer for the third movie in the Transformers franchise, Transformers: Dark of The Moon. I watched this two and a half …
You know what makes the first full-length trailer for The Hangover: Part II so funny? Two things: First, I don’t ever not laugh when Zach Galifianakis’ character, Alan, says, “When a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it’s funny in any language.” And second, the trailer, which you can watch after the jump, was recently pulled from theaters because of said quote and said scene referencing oral sex from a primate. Hard to believe another year is almost in the rear …
Michael Bay announced on his website on March 22 that Oscar regulars, John Malkovich (Burn After Reading) and Frances McDormand (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day) have joined the cast of Transformers 3, due to hit theaters the summer of 2011. Also joining the cast is Ken Jeong, most recently seen in The Hangover doing a naked Asian impression with Bradley Cooper of the facehugger scene in Alien. The three actors join Transformers regulars Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson …
There’s no better way to enjoy a movie than to go in with lowered expectations. No matter how quickly a movie starts licking the drain, it will always fare infinitely better than if approached with a soaring expectation. Of course, that’s a terrible way to experience movies, but it may be the reason I’m not ready to light the rhetorical flamethrower and burn the house of All About Steve– with all the principle players in it, to the ground. All …
