Not a movie about science and not a movie about Bill Clinton.
DOCTOR STRANGE is a massive, much-needed jolt of fresh fun into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I find it ironic this CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON meets INCEPTION superhero flick, one I was not anticipating in the least, is my favorite entry in the MCU since 2014’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. With that said, let’s be clear: Marvel has never made a bad movie. There have been 12 entries, including IRON MAN (2008), which launched the MCU, and even the weakest entries (I’m …
I would have never thought in a million years A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES would be such a white-knuckled and well-acted movie. When Liam Neeson is constantly playing Your Worst Nightmare, it’s easy to dismiss this as another cha-ching in the former Jedi’s pocketbook. That’s probably due to the trailer, which isn’t very good, but the movie gets a big fat B+ from me and you can hear my review on the KVNU For the People Movie show by clicking …
Did you ever wonder what a Bond movie would be like if James Bond was douchier and older than he already is? Well, lucky you! THE NOVEMBER MAN is right up your alley and you can hear my thoughts on Pierce Brosnan’s return to Secret Agent Land by clicking on this KVNU Movie Show podcast link!

What didn’t rule the box office? The sporadically funny SEX TAPE, starring Jason Segal and Cameron Diaz. It …
Lots of folks didn’t like TAMMY. Lots of folks don’t like Melissa McCarthy. I happen to like both. That means you can suck it, Rex Reed. At any rate, if you missed the movie show, click here and enjoy the hour-long conversation about TAMMY and Hollywood’s favorite films!
If you missed the KVNU For the People Movie Show on Friday, we talked about TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION and my non-hatred of Michael Bay’s filmography. It’s too easy to crap on Michael Bay and I won’t hop on that bandwagon. Also, he likes to blow shit up and I like watching shit blow up, so, you know, we complete each other. I also generally enjoy Mark Wahlberg, especially when he (or Andy Sandberg) talks to animals. Click here to …
